Obedience training
General information
Sunny Ridge Golden Retrievers specializes in dogs with proven obedience abilities. This is an important characteristic of the Golden Retriever breed which was developed to perform as a working dog. Obedience training can help any dog to become great. All of our dogs have received, or are in training for, competition obedience titles.
Client dog training information
From time to time we will accept a limited number of client dogs for training and handling on contract. Typically, client dogs begin training for competition at the Companion Dog (CD) level. After successful completion of this title, client dogs may be considered for training and competition at the CDX (Companion Dog, Excellent) level. Finally, in exceptional cases, client dogs may be accepted for training and competition at the Utility Dog (UD) obedience title level. We are not currently accepting clients for obedience training.
